MAFF KAYAK TOURNEY RESULTS-APRIL 23-LAKE BOON
Tough bite. The 2 best fish of the day were caught in the last half hour. And sadly, there lies at the bottom of Lake Boon a cell phone with a picture of a 3 and 4 pounder on it!
Don was the man today with the win and lunker. Good job to you and to everyone else who was grinding it out on Saturday! Good to see some new anglers too!

I didn't get a bite until 9:30 and it was a dink bass, I was throwing Dropshot,Texas rig,jerkbait,spinners and even a bit of topwater and could only get small ones. Must have boated 6-8 and dropped another dozen dinks.Around 11:00 I decided to head back towards the launch and spend final 45mins fishing some offshore weeds in 7-8 feet of water in the 1st area that looked like a pond. Tossed out the dropshot and had a couple more dinks then the BIGGUN hit around 11:30.
