Wequaquet lake is definitely great bass fishery in there. Host regularly weekend bass tournaments. This place get pounded hard. But great quality of fish if you can find them.

Not really. I used surf rod few times.. I used 3-4oz egg sinker but i put three of them on line. So i can cast over 100 feet with no problem. Good luck.

Not a chance. Two things - smallmouth doesnt grow that big. If its 11 or 12. Probably reasonable. Secondly, i think he meant it was largemouth, not smallmouth.

Prefer seperate wader and boot. Its better that way and long run.

Im usually fishing wader for bass on anywhere if i cant bring canoe or yak.

On trout/salmon, i never really need wader for it. ...
