Have gotten two LMB over 3 pounds so far (including the one in my new profile photo), so I can't complain.

The water warmed up very slow in some places, I think, so the bite was off, but it's getti ...

Glad I'm not the only one who's witnessed this - I could barely believe my eyes!

Good point about the feet. I suspect if a bass did manage to drown a duck, he would soon realize he couldn't swallow ...

I was fishing yesterday just before sunset at one of my local ponds that has some good-sized largemouths when I saw a duck, and adult mallard, struggling on the surface in the distance, quacking, flap ...

I've got a Heritage Featherlite sit-in that I bought before I got back into fishing, when my main criteria were low price and low weight.

It's served me well as a fishing kayak - they go for $599 n ...

Depth charts of the rez are going to be of limited utility since you can only fish as far as you can cast since it's shore fishing only.

That said, any info is good.

I fish the north side of the ...

It was a very slow bite day.

We were on the water about 8 a.m. in our kayaks.

A guy fishing from shore at the bridge said he got one small bass on a topwater, but I couldn't get any hits on one. ...

A friend wants to hit it Sunday morning for some kayak fishing - from what I can see, it's supposed to be OK in that stretch for warm water species.

Just wondering if anyone's been there recently ...

Parking should not be a problem. There is room for several cars at a turnout just to the right of the gate, and if that's full, there is a dirt shoulder along the road that runs past the cemetery at t ...

I was at Gate 14 tonight and I agree with badlarry, it's a good introduction to the Chu - it's the only section I've fished so far in two visits.

The water level is higher than it was when I went ...
