Messinger Pond/silk Mill Conservation Area Description

Very small body of water. Have had best luck/access to water fishing off the dingy looking bridge over the waterfall.

Used to catch a lot of smallmouth and largemouth bass here as a kid, but it is very small and overfished these days.

Supposedly, according to the townies, some guy stocks this pond with bass that he catches every year... SUPPOSEDLY.

I used to use tailed rubber worms and shiners here with varying levels of success.
