Went out this afternoon around 1pm. Caught small largemouth (10") on a #2 buckhair mepps spinner silver blade.
Moved down to the northeastern part of the lake and caught a pickerel on the same lure. Then switched to a rapala suspending jerkbait and caught another pickerel...eerily similar to the first one, both around 14".
This was the first outing that i actually caught fish this year, lol.
I was trying to land some larger bass by casting out to deeper water and working a texas rigged plastic crawdad very slowly, but no hits.
Ran into to guys with a canoe who were getting off the lake and they said they got no nothing, said the lake hasn't been good for fishing the last few years (mentioned sewage spill
