Good to see you back, Greg!

John, I'll pencil you in.

So, I know others have understandably questioned the wisdom of Kayak fishing Great Herring. All I can add is that I've had 2 two hour scouting missions to Great Herring Pond in the yak over the past month. On the first trip, I was very comfortable up to about halfway across the pond and it was choppy from there so I covered about half of the pond. Second trip was extremely pleasant and I covered almost the whole pond comfortably. I realize I may have caught nice days and weekday boat traffic. Both times caught a handful of smallies. Maybe I'll have to watch deaffisherman to find the right spots!

If you're thinking about it, come on down for a fun challenge and try to beat the 2013 MA Angler of the Year!

Messed up my dates, so count me in.

Tomp - thank you for positive words.

There is no right spots in here. Every spot is looking good. It is matter of time that someone pulls big ones.. I know I will. But with this big lake, someone do surely have chance to beat me. It is not like fishing in bath tub in smaller ponds. After all, I DOES have skunks days.. Unlike people think of me. So, bring it on!

Sorry to do this guys, but I'm out due to other obligations. I really wanted to fish this one too. Been waiting a couple of seasons to make it down to GHP.
