im headed up to lake winni saturday for a week!
last year i struggled and only caught 2-3 decent bass!
i fished shallow 10feet and less!

we are staying in moultonborough bay! i will have a boat but i dont know the lake! so i want to fish in the bay area and not venutre out into the lake!

i plan on fishing deep! the little bay we are staying has some good looking humps, channles and drop offs!
i plan on fishing carolina rigs, drop shot and football jigs!

we arent staying in the same house or area! last year we stayed up betweens greens basin and lees mill!
this year we are staying between lees mill and melvin village,
any other tips??

It is easy to pic up a topo map of winni they are very informative as long as you can find markers and read a map and understand N.H. boating laws. If you have a gps you can buy a chip for from Bizzers.com. they are very detailed I have one in my Garmin has hot spots, depths, rocks, wrecks or check out local bait shop for maps.
Stay away from the grave yard water is down.
smalles are deep now.
good luck

Try the c rig with a baby brush hog. Fish it in 20+ feet of water. Worked for me at newfound lake last 2 weeks. Actually caught a lake trout on it.
