I've been saying this for the past month, but this is probably my time to put my flies, lures, and rods away Crying or Very sad ... First time fishing, started really getting into it around mid sept (sadly I was a little late). I am extremely excited for this upcoming spring though! With my fish finder, kayak, and finally having my driver's license... It'll be a great spring, but anyways, thanks to everyone that helped me with my rookie questions! Hopefully gonna catch some big fish this winter though in my rookie season of ice fishing! Have a good winter guys and see ya in the spring. Very Happy

It was pretty much my rookie season too (though I fished some as a kid) - I got started in June though.

No ice fishing for me though - I like being outside, just would rather x-oountry ski or snowshoe.

I'll be back on the water in the spring.

It's almost time too start prepping my ice fishing gear but not quite yet, gotta get on the water a couple more times this season!!!

Frambrett I wear my snowshoes when I go ice fishing(when there's snow or thin ice), not the hole time but I'll blaze trails out to our spot and paths too our tip ups, definitely makes for easier walking.
