Decided to hit Massabesic with Vinny Guaetta today from 6am to 1pm. Water temp was 62 to 64. No wind and cloudy most of the day. The water was very high. Looked about 1to 2 feet higher than usual. I landed 3 largemouth in about 15 minuntes (including my best 2 of the day). Then the bite was gone just as fast as it appeared. Vinny was struggling a bit from the back seat so he moved up front and hooked up with a couple decent largemouth. In all we boated 11 or 12 with my best 5 around 17 pounds. Most bass were caught on a shakey head jig in 3 to 5 feet of water near brush piles and rock. We tried deep, humps and ledges with no luck. No reaction bite today. Saw many empty beds and few largemouth on beds that wouldn't touch anything. Only One small smallmouth todAy. Here is a pic of my best 3

nice trip and great write up. All caught on jigs too. I have to start working on the jigs, never give them enough time I think. Nice job
