I felt bad for sailing because no one has posted here yet. This one's for you Sailing.

Many sailboats were built for fishing. About 4000 big schooners were built near Gloucester to fish for cod using dories out on the Grand Banks over 100 years ago.
Around Cape Cod, fisherman used catboats in the shallow waters.
Many sailors troll when going any distance on the ocean.
Around here, it is a way to catch bluefish. I had a friend that loved to catch fluke from a sailboat. Down south, mahi are commonly caught - and I even caught a nice wahoo trolling. Was on a boat in the Pacific when we landed a 65 # yellowfin. Nice meal for 24 students and 10 crew.
