My BPS PQ 7:1:1 is having issues and I no longer trust it in the pads etc. I'm looking for a new reel and I've got it narrowed down to the Lew's Speed Spool LFS and the Cabela's Prodigy. I know the Lew's is nice and will be good but I dont know anything about the Prodigy which is basically a Daiwa Tierra.

Anyone have experience with either the Prodigy or the Tierra? I was sold on the Lew's but Cabela's is having a sale for $60 and they have great warranties so I'm torn.

I've had 2 cabbalas reels and they were both junk. Go with the lews all day

If ur gonna be using it for flippin pads and grass u might wanna move up to the tournament mb. The lfs only has 10lbs of drag while the mb has 14.

I have the prodigy. Pretty good reel for 100 dollars, great reel for 60. Cabelas has come a long way with their rods and reels. If your looking to spend a little less I would definitely say go with the prodigy.
