My friends been fishing a Local pond that was stocked last week. It took him 5 days to get a few but he got 3. All on different baits.

Whenever Walden stocks, we can hit our creel a day or two after. They Stocked on April 4 and it was dead. Saw a lot popping for flies on the water but no bites. I think when the water temp creeps up a bit, the trout will be more active.

I have done real well right after they stock (like a trout every cast); other times not so well. Have not figured out the pattern yet. However, I do C&R and try not to handle them so folks can catch them again.

I'd say usually about a week anyway. First day is dead.
Went to white pond last week with no luck, but last year seemed good: https://www.secretreel.com/listing/white-pond-fishing-concord-ma/
