| Went out sunday for a marathon fishing trip.....found the water was crystal clear and no weeds on the way out, which is unusual......discovered it was this way around the whole pond. We could see the bottom in spots of 15' of water....that NEVER happens. No vegetation to be heard of. There are spots almost 30' deep.......must be where the fish are hiding. Basically makes this smallie hot spot unfishable........ anyone know anything. |

| How far back are you remembering ? putnam has always been a pretty clear/clean pond as far as weed and pad growth etc etc. Atleast for the last 4-5 years? |
