So my brother caught a pin brookie a little less than a month ago, and we took all the required pictures for the fish's length and I sent in the affidavit via email. From experience, does anyone know when/if they will reply and how I'll know if everything checks out? This is our first time doing this so I'm not sure how it usually works. Thanks

I didn't receive a confirmation email last year when I submitted for my Bass, and my buddy put on a stud Perch last week and he didn't get one either. I called last year to inquire and The guy said they wait to get all submissions in to mail out the first round of pins (I think he said the longest fish gets a gold pin and a plaque for the year). I submitted in November and didn't receive my pin till Feb. this year.

Keep measuring, Catch and Release!

I played this game for last three years. Once you submits pin fish and you will get pin in mail from 3-5 month from now. Depend how process that they do. But in the end, you will still get it. Also, congrats for you big catch.
