On Monday May 23, 2016 the Fall River Harbormaster and I set out approximately 15" "ORANGE SAFETY HAZARD MARKER BUOYS" along several locations.
We felt it was time to properly mark the water for safety reasons and it may save a few lower-ends.
ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tampering with them is a $150 Fine
The locations of these markers are not EXACTLY where the rock or cluster of rocks are. We marked the area of where prior incidents have occurred. So if there is an Orange Marker rest assured there are some hazards in that area.
The string of markers dropped near Rt-6. You will see 5 markers, this means anything from the marker in towards the SHORELINRE is a HAZARD. Some folks know how to run inside here but its not recommended.
Its a start everyone, a No Wake Marker will be place in front of the ramp and a Porta John is going in. Your $5 launch fee is being spent properly. Baby steps here boys/girls trying to keep the place decent.
