Interesting post from On The Water. Anybody caught one of these in MA through the ice? Mystic River/lakes, Connecticut River, maybe even the Charles?

That would be awesome! There's some pics of them caught through the ice in one of my local tackle shops that I believe came from the Mystic Lake Region.

it is true!!! I know first hand that it is indeed possible to catch stripers through the ice, normal large shiners, nothing fancy......they run like CRAZY!!
