Sounds like a bunch of places I still fish. I fished Ell Pond in Melrose a bunch of times and it matches your description, except for the part about being filled with sunfish.
Have you used the find trips function or the map view and read about some of the places where people have fished and caught big bass? I think just coming on and asking for good fishing holes is a little off-putting. I don't know if you've posted trips or reports, but this group is a great community that gives as much as it takes. |
