i was out last night for a few hours after work and noticed the water is still super warm in the north shore. i was hoping for some browns but it ended up being a bass blitz on topwater. still pretty aggressive feeding on top. not complaining at all.
you trout guys think the water is still too warm for them to come in a little closer to shore? |

depends on the body of water. Brown trout like warmer waters, almost as warm as bass.
Last sunday at Walden pond, there were rainbows cruising the shallows in groups of 3/4 all day, couldn't seem to get them to take anything. Ended up catching some out deeper, in about 25-30ft of water on floated night crawlers and powerbait. |
