Im just starting my fishing for the season and usually all i use is plastic worm with a hook tucked into it. Usually its pretty successful but for some reason im out of luck and im not sure if its me or the water. Does anybody have any tips for jigs, lures or techniques? im in south coast MA.

Personally I use jerkbaits and lipless crankbaits.

I've had great luck on the new livingston lipless pro ripper... loving this lure so far this season... was never a lipless fisher.. but these seem to catch them.. caught a 4 1/2 lber 2 weeks ago on it..

Small (2 hook) jerkbaits and lipless cranks like a Rat-L-Trap have been good to me so far.
