Ok...I've comprised a written list of all the advice so far,I'm betting MOST of it will work...AMAZING what came out of "DOES POWER BAIT REALLY WORK?...I'm leaving tomorrow around 8am...I've been to these towns so many times in the last 30+ years I should really just move to Charlemont and call it a retirement
---I hope you all have a great MEMORIAL DAY-and DON'T FORGET what this Holiday means ! ! !Buy that service man or woman you see out or have in your life a burger-N- a beer...without them we'd lose liberties like fishing
-------I also have to say , that as much as I love The MIGHTY QUABBIN Valley...nothing beats these rivers and ponds in The Berkshires for the beauty of nature...I can only hope ALL you fine anglers here on MAFF take a chance on them at some point in your lives..NOTHING beats fishing in a big lunker in the face of a series of '3,000 footers'

Nice advice hope you enjoy your trip and I've had to listen to that your not being social enough talk many a times when my mind is drifting to where I can cast a line whenever I am out camping with friends!

dave iooking at my pics i posted on 5/10 so ya it was a bit early and it was the last piece of bait.. i couldent hav cared less if i lost it on the cast out. i was ready to go ( had enough) the crabs got most of my bait (mackerel) i was at skussett beach jetty at the cannal. on the last cast i removed my 6 oz weight and put 2 1oz weights and the weight of the bait, as soon as it hit the water the line just took off. i bigest and most powerfull ive ever brought in. i,m getting picked up in the am to try it again i think i,ll bring a med. rod and a plug to do somthing while i,m waiting for the big one.but realy i would rather be on a lake
guys enjoy ur trip wheatever way you fish
