i think i'm missing the joke here. do they sound alike or both catch all sorts of random giant fish? i fish with a guy who isn't on MAFF and he sounds exactly like wade. i make him say "fish on!" every time he catches one.

I was just thinking about a previous post about someone getting struck by lightning in the Amazon peacock bass fishing and it sounded like a Jeremy wade story to me so I figured see what kind of responses I would get

I was thinking Muskie embodies the same sense of adventure and curiosity that Jeremy Wade does. They're both chasing the next big fish, and not necessarily in the same manner as most.

Anyone who has fished with Muskie would probably agree. It's not just the fish that he gets, but it's the outside of the box thinking that crackes me up. Not to mention, its always a learning experience, but it's flat out pure entertainment fishing with him and Chris. Quality guys!

Muskie, there's your plug! thanks for the weight! Nininininnininini

Yeah, that would be me. Step on a sting ray the next day too. Wearing ugly ass Crocs saved my butt both times.

I actually leave tomorrow to hunt big river fish in Alaska, if the weather doesn't screw me (tight connections). I should fly into Anchorage tomorrow, spend a night there and then fly about 300 miles north west to Aniak. Fish there for a day and then go 50 miles up river for 6 days.

I'll be targeting 11 species, so gear packing is a nightmare. Bringing 1 paino box, 4 rods, 5 reels, and an assortment of lines. I actually think I may look more forward to the pike fishing than than salmon the fishing. But that will probably change once I get there.

Can't wait! Just hope my gear gets there when I do and in one piece.
