Review: My father-in-law and myself went to Walker Pond. We utilized a canoe to fish from during the trip. We launched the boat at the North Side Boat Launch to gain access to the pond. After milling around on the north side of the lake and only getting large sized pumpkinseed/bluegill I decided to take him to the south side of the pond. This area is PERFECT for Largemouth and Pickerel! The best thing to use is a canoe or kayak due to the shallow nature of this pond. We were able to get into the back coves. All said and done I caught 5 nice sized Largemouth and endless amount of very oversized pumpkinseed and my father-in-law caught 7 Largemouth, 2 Chain Pickerel, and endless amounts of pumpkinseed. Awesome day!
