cheftrev82 Thanks guys. A Blue Fox Vibrax. Blue body and a red (bleeder) spinner. Size #4. Those Blue Fox in-line spinners get 'em every time. And yea, that's the old north bridge.
shawn123 I thought that that was a northern pike, but i looked closer and found out that it is a chain pikerel

shawn123 This must be a record size fish, how much did it weigh?

cheftrev82 Thanks, Brotha. Not a record, but definitely a monster. I'm 6' 2.5" tall, and as you can see it's at the top of my head and roughly 5-6 inches below my waste. Although I did have a digital scale in my tackle box, I didn't weigh it, so I couldn't give you an answer without a doubt. I can tell you that my guess would be 8.5 - 9 lbs. and I catch and digitally weigh thousands of fish every year, so I feel like it's a solid and honest estimate. Pickerel or pike die very easily if they're out of the water or mishandled for any short period of time, and I wanted to make sure this one lived and had many monster babies for years to come. I got my picture, that's all I wanted!
