Got out on Rock Pond at about 730 am. Intending to catch some bass. Was throwing an old Rapala and caught two Rainbows in my first 10 casts. Decided to dedicate some time to my jig, and get my first bass of the season. Refused to give up and got a pounder an hour in. Switched to senko hooked two more bass about 2 lbs each, and let my 6 year old reel the second one in. Wind picked up and drove us out of there.

Frosty morning at Round Pond. Ice on the guides. Caught 3 trout and missed 7 or 8 others that hit my bait. Tough to hook today.

My brother and I got to Baldpate at about 500pm. Seemed nice enough until we got to my spot and the wind was blowing like crazy right at us. At 540 both my rods got hit we each reeled one in and that was all the action we got. Left at 630

I met Ed at the end of Stanley St at 545am. My rods started going a few minutes later. Caught 2 Rainbows on white power eggs. One was 13" and the other was 14", both nice and fat with good color. Ed went to the next spot down and through some lures. They were rising, but no takers. Water was dead calm for the first time this week.
