Comment: Ha, me too! Took me a while to figure that out. Wouldn't leave pads cause I thought they where bass also!! Did pull one out punching pads!

Comment: Alewives are a type of Herring. Along with the Alewives are Blueback Herring. Alewives are the bigger ones you see. I think they pretty much run at the same time. There are tons of them this year. Wait till the hatch and the upper and lower will look like its raining.
