Drove by Quabog this afternoon and there was one guy ice fishing to the left of the boat ramp VERY close to shore. Drove by South Pond which is connected to Quabog and it was completely open, you could have launched a boat there. Just goes to show you the difference in freezing rate at a shallow versus a deep pond.
