So I'm abut to head out on to the sudbury river probably from the rt. 27 little bat launch there. Anyone been out there in a while? I know the fish can get big in there I just need too know what will bag a couple of them. Thanks for any help.

take a right from the ramp, heavy lb test or braid with a frog or toad, throw it as close to the shore as you can couple of quick twiches to wake em up and then slow retrive back to boat, i find on the real hot days they hold up tight to the banks, but will gladly come out for a nice frog. real nice weed lines in that stretch from rte 27 all the way up shermans bridge road.

good luck

be sure to try a crankbait for a few casts when at the Suds! I caught my biggest largemouth ever there this past summer on a little cranker, 5.25 lbs
