Looking for a good place to trout fish with a boat on the cape in the spring . The lake needs to have a good launch for a 16 foot boat . Any suggestions ? Will be willing to hook up to fish also ..
Thanks , Troutfreak .

Mashpee-Wakeby Pond, Mashpee is definitely place to go. based on your boat. You will definitely catch trouts there. (hint: use small rapala..) If you want to get details into colors. PM me.

But I think Peter pond can be accessible. But I never went there before nor knowing any info about boat ramp around there.

Peters is a better choice. It has a nice concrete slab ramp. There are browns, rainbows and an occasional Tiger. They put bonus salmon in there as well.

not sure where you're located but def. go to wallum for trout. i've never caught one at peters but did at mashpee. dunno if i'd go to mashpee specifically for trout though. there are a lot more trout heavy waters.

After these last fish they are done stocking salmon in mass but trolling for trout in mashpee wakeby is the better choice!!!! There are some big browns an a lot if rainbows!! It's a really good holdover pond
