07/11/09 - Long Pond - Plymouth, MA
have heard really good things about this place, but ended up as a very disappointing day. 6 hours and not one bite all day. we threw everything we had, crankbaits, soft worms, real worms, etc. fished about 75% of the shore line. apparently, the fish were on the other 25%. nice sunny day, but very windy.
had about an hour left before dark when our battery started dying. we had been fighting the waves all day. we moved over to little long pond on the other side of the parking lot. stayed in the lilly pads not far from the boat launch. one 10 inch bass and a few sunfish before dark. no pics.
