Thanks dace....I was only out from about 7:00 am until 8:30 am. Mostly wanted to try out a new fly line, but will have to wait till calmer days to give it a true test.

Thanks don51. You are right, it was not a great day for the fly rod... or the kayak, as it was very choppy. Unfortunately, I took more time prepping to go fishing than I actually spent fishing.

Took the kayak and fly rod to the Nip for some bass fishing. Came home and drew and watercolored this map of the lake.
