Yes, there are longnose gar in the Great Lakes as well as Lake Champlain. Also, in one episode of River Monsters, Jeremy Wade caught this one at Lake Champlain.

So far I've caught 12 bass. Only small ones though, with the exception of one nice 3 pounder. Crankbaits, swimbaits, and shiners have all been doing the trick.

I know there are rock bass in western mass, but are there any rivers, lakes, ponds, etc in eastern mass that have them?
