Theres a video where Aron Marten explains why he uses braid as backing for longer distance but I agree with you all I would be worried about slippage

Go on tackle warehouse and look at the 13series spinning rods they around 100.00 and they have awsome reviews

When spooling dont put it on the floor have someone hold the spool or what I do is have a dole through my spools in a box to hold my line

Have the line come from the bottom of spool for spinning reels Top for casting reels..It makes a huge differnece for spinning reels

I have one left and I can't find another blade bait as good as the original silver buddy.. I just bought some of the vibe bladebaits hope they are just as good

silver buddy (blades baits) and float and fly in clear water below 50 is aswome jerkbaits, swimbaits, in stain water spidergrubs , spinnerbaits crankbaits the list is endless

You will not regret it , When you see it looks like a propbait but its sinks almost like a senko and when you reel it in its real subtle wobble but smallies love it

I messed around with them last summer and trying to find a good spinning rod i was using a drop shot rod but some say yes and some say go ultra lite I was thinking ml or lite, anyone tried them yet ...
