I saw this on the Groupon thing for Boston...1/2 price fishing on the Deerfield River with a guide! Seems like a good idea to me, I just wish I was better at flyfishing!

the good thing about going with a guide is that you can get a flyfishing lesson all mixed in. i LOVE to flyfish and it is not nearly as daunting as people make it out to be.

this seems like a great deal, i'm thinking about it myself as my father is visiting in 3 weeks and this would be a great experience, i agree with charlie fly casting looks very complex but it is easy enough to learn, i got back to it last year after 7 years and it was like i never stopped. plus it is a fantastic way to catch fish

I always enjoy watching someone try to catch fish that are feeding off the surface with a spinner, sit back and enjoy, then bust out the flyrod and clean up
