Merrimac salmon

I went to the merrimac today and saw a few very nice salmon jump. What do you use to catch these guys?

salmon will hit all kinds of stuff...............live bait,spinners,spoons,cranks,castmasters,did I say live bait.Never caught them there though,never tried

where in the merrimack do the salmon run? ive never seen them. long time since this thread but i need to catch me some salmon!
