As many of you know I run a website..mainly to show off ( that is why we fish and such right? ) our great catches but also help spread my love and obsession with carp fishing..anyway as part of it we do video blogs I guess..these are a couple recent ones from this spring and early summer. The first 2 minutes of the first one are the favorite of any of the 80+ videos I've made now. Even if you don't watch the others you might like that part.

The second is ashort film to show off Ezra's first ever carp on the fly. He has been practiing over the last year and finally bagged one!..and then another..and another Wink

and the third is just a compilation of a bit of footage through the spring. I hope you enjoy guys!

Thanks bud. I have been having a lot of fun editing the films lately..just seeing what we can do with fishing videos heh. It does help that many of the waters in Mass look as good as they do.

Hey blackstone, where did you manage to find your Pod? i havent seen any here at all with the exception of yours! Hell i cant even find Banksticks to screw my bite alarms into unless i get them sent from England!
kind of frustrating i have my 3 bite alarms and no way of using them unless i duct tape them to a stick!! LOL Laughing

Yeah sadly there is no real option other then to have one shipped.

Mine is the Fox Eclipse and I ordered it from http://www.wackerbaits.com/ WHo sells a few English company ones, mainly Fox if I recall. His ship times and prices are fair but it obviously isn't as cheap as walking down to a tackle shop and picking up.

You have a lot of other options though. My first one was built out of PVC pipe for 11 dollars! Little bit of take apart and put together on the banks but it worked.

Then some American companies are trying to step up like https://www.resistancetackle.com/catalog.php?mode=publicview&ref=21 or http://www.bigcarptackle.com/store/home.php?cat=289 and http://www.scorpiontackle.com/rod-pods-c-52.html?osCsid=d6ad1b546fb799b2c9ff1b53b0bf167e

All in all it is getting easier and cheaper to find pods/sticks/alarms etc over here.

Thats awesome dude thank you very much! now for the time being i can at least get a couple of inexpesive alluminum bank sticks to screw my alarms in and wait till my brother visits me again next year and pay him to 'take an extra bag' and bring my Pod and Carp Rods.... kinda not used to using a 7' rod as apposed to my 12' specialised Carp rods. spending 250-300 bux for another decent pod isnt quite within my budget!
I do wonder when someone is going to introduce Carping on the Pole here..... im pretty sure i still have a 35' pole back in England too, unless my daughter has stolen it!! LOL

Thats an experience i can recomend if you can get a cheap pole, rubbers and float online to try it out!
