Hello,

I am new here and just moved to Worcester from the Boston area over the winter. I am looking for a good place (prefer a pond vs. lake) to go fishing with my daughter (8 years old) and fiance.

In the Boston area we frequented Winter Pond in Winchester which is a very small pond but you were sure to catch something even from the shore so it was good for her being younger and getting bored easily.

We like to fish for bass, pickerel, perch, and crappie using shiners and worms.

Can anyone recommend a good place to go fishing around here? Willing to drive up to 20 minutes or so.

We are by no means avid fishermen

Laughing but enjoy fishing together as a family.

Thanks so much

Barry Bait on Rt 20 or All Fish 3 mins from there
Where abouts do you live. Plenty of nice spots around here. Or you could catch little bait fish and use them the cost of a worm if you don't dig them up yourself
