So I get home from a couple hours of fishing (unsuccessful I might add) to a broken saltwater rod. My wife snapped it in half while trying to move it. I have used it precisely once. It's equipped with a very nice inshore Penn reel. So now I need a new saltwater rod. 90% of the time I will be casting from jettys and beaches at riverheads. What do you suggest for a new rod? What weight/speed? If it's over 7', it will have to be a two piece. Thanks!!

check with the company. Some come with replacement warranties where you pay like 20 bucks to replace it. I've never done it but have seen it mentioned here many times

My wife broke my brand new G Loomis earlier this year. It took 3 calls but they finally informed me that it qualifies for the wildcard program and they will replace it for free no questions asked if I have the receipt.

Good luck!
