All hail the Wooley Bugger

Out around Westwood/Norwood on Sat....with the same olive bead head woolly bugger snagged LMB, Crappie, Slime Dart, and a bunch of Rainbows...what alure!

You really can't find a simpler, more versatile. of effective fly. Nice day on the water.

Sounds like a trip to Buckmaster or possibly Hale Reservation. I've been waiting for the wind to die down so I can break out my fly rods. Even tied a bunch of wooly buggers this winter in prep. Congrats.
