Picked up this nice brookie last night - a lot of work for it though. Fish jumping everywhere, but usual story, either presentation or fly choice was wrong.
Anyone else been out with the fly rod either after trout or bass?
Got a 2lb Brown about 2 weeks ago on a dry Adams. Think a big fly. Black body, black and white wings. Overcast day, mirror flat waters around 6pm. Water temp was down because of the high amount of rain. Took the dry about 55ft out in 9ft deep water heavily stained (rain).
