Just moved back to MA after a year of fishing in Australia. I got spoiled down-under by chasing meter plus Barramundi! Now that Im back to MA I want to keep using my basic bait casting and spin gear to fish local ponds and rivers. I have access to a canoe but not to a proper boat. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to start. I will be living in Petersham (near Athol) starting on September. I will fish through the fall into Novemeber. Does anyone have suggestions on what species to target this time of year?
