Hi guys, well, cartopping has gotten old. Assembling/disassembling, along with the fact that I have added a bunch of stuff since I got this boat, so, with that said I'm thinking a trailer is in order. You guys have helped me with pretty much every aspect as I pieced my jon boat and kayak together so here I am again haha. What size trailer would i need for a 12' aluminum jon? Anything I should look for or be weary of?

Thanks again!

Look at Harbor Freight tools.
They have a 4x8 trailer for about $269. With a 20% off coupon $229.
But you gotta assemble it your self.
Good luck!

Lots of "small boat" trailers on Craigs list. Just be sure the seller has title so you can register it

The better the trailer the less problems you will have. Stay away from real small tires and wheels. Those things spin three times faster that your vehicle tires when on the highway. You will really have to keep after the bearings every year if you go with little wheels.
Make sure you have bearing buddies on your hubs when you get one. don't pressurize the heck out of them either or you will blow out the axle seal on the back of the hub....
