New to the bridgewater area. Hewitt pond in raynham looks really nice with some good shoreline fishing. Anyone fish there??

Hewitt does have some bass and pickerel but has limited access...the nip right down the street is good for pickerel and bass and Johnson's pond also right down the street is good for trout and sunfish

You say the nip is good. I don't have a boat so I have to shoreline fish. I couldn't find a good place to fish the shore. I saw the boat launch but didn't have any luck there.

The boat ramp is great around 7pm...also there is access from chase road in raynham...if u follow a short dirt path there is a parking lot followed by a trail that leads to a beach and has some good shore fishing
