So I heard about a good pike fishing spot behind salvatores in Lawrence. People said the pike hang out at the end of the shawsheen river.

I also heard that there are bums that live along that part of the river and there are people who will mug you. just wondering if anybody has been there recently? If so, I'd like to know how the conditions there are lately.

Haven't been to that spot near Sal's for about 5 years, but the last time I went there it was the middle of the day, so no bums, just other people fishin.

Have seen so many species caught at that little spot where the Shawsheen spits out. I've seen smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, Eel, Salmon, Carp, so that spot attracts ALL kinds of anglers and can get pretty crowded.

The spot where the Shawsheen meets the Merrimack was a good location. Unfortunately, this spot has been burned. Everybody fishes this location and the pike are not what they once were.
