Very nice fish, however, as others have said, hold them horizontally.
The heavy weight from a large fish like that will seriously damage the gill plates if held by them.
I don't want to tale anything away from the catch though! Did you get a weight? Carp are hard to guess because they vary so much with girth Got to be at least upper teens! Keep up the catching!
