Can anyone recommend a good product for lead free jigh Eads for grubs.

I was just doing some browsing on BPS.com and their store brand tungsten Jughead costs just about $5 for a 3 pack of 1/8 oz.

I know brass and lead are less dense, therefore tend to have a larger profile, but over a $1 a piece per hook is a little pricey.

The old lead head jigs are like 10 to 20 for that price.

F!@#$%^ loons.

Try Tackle warehouse, prices are a little cheaper than bps, free shipping for orders over $50 & no sales tax. That saves you some $$.

Just browsed tacklewar house, seems like the price of $5 give or take is the going price for a 3 or 4 pack of economic friendly jig heads, depending on weight.

Couldn't find anything other than tungsten. 6 jigs plus a bag of plastics and you're still only out a little over $2 a lure. Not too bad.

There's a member here that has lead free jigs.
Check out "boag hog baits".
He's sells tin jigs, which is cheaper than tungsten.
