Took my son fishing today and we decided to stay on the north shore. We started at Chebacco Lake. The water temp 50-52 degrees and bite was slow but I was able to manage a 3.5 Pound LMB that was in about 2 feet of water close to the shore line next to a dock that was close to an 8 foot drop to deeper water. After about 2 and half hours we put the boat back on the trailer and headed to another pond where the water temp was 58-60 degrees and I was able to land two pigs one just under 5 pounds and one just over 5 pounds both up close to an island of brush in 3 feet next to a 5 foot drop off. Everything was caught on chatterbaits today with a slow retrieve
