Going to Whitehall Reservoir in Hopkinton tomorrow after work. Never been here before. Taking route 495 south. What exit to get to Whitehall?. Where is main boat ramp?. Will be there about 3:30 pm.
Any tips on what to use here.

Use exit 21a towards hopkinton. The ramp spits you out onto 135. Follow that to the second set of lights. At the lights take a sharp left, onto wood street I believe. The boat launch is about 2 miles down on the left. Tons of parking.

Focus on the cluster of islands on the northwest side of the lake. People seem to do well there on soft creature baits.

It may be early in the season but I know the lake has a lot of floating slop piles. Throw a jig under them or a wacky rigged senko.

Been fishing tough this year. Small areas have good greener(more alive) coon then others and have quality fish. Plastics in the grass and a spinnerbait probably will do the trick.
