Mystic River/Mystic Lakes

So i'm just opening this up to anyone who has any input on fishing these waters because i want to try new fishing techniques while fishing the Mystic River and Mystic Lakes, i personally swear by purple senkos and ribbon tail worms, also white with silver sparkles super fluke, zoom 6 inch lizards (texas rigging my soft plastics) and Spinner baits in general.

Fishing from land or boat ?

I'm going from the shore and most of the time ill wear a bathing suit and just go in with water shoes knee deep.

Mystic lake upper and lower are descent fisheries …. but sometimes u gotta put long hours of work in to get what u want.
