Anyone know of anywhere in western MA or Enfield CT where the large mouth are biting hard yet? ??

No bass in the chicopee reservoir or five mile pond yet, for me at least. The pumpkin seeds came out yesterday though

The Largemouth have been active in valley smaller bodies of water. Water temps have been over 50 degrees, so prespawn is in swing. Had fishing buddies haul out 4lb 6oz and 4lb 9oz slobs this weekend. (I got quantity instead of quality)
Haven't fished any water up into the Berkshires yet, but I imagine it's getting close to the same there.

Fished goose this morning trolling rapalas no bass got 3 trout 2 perch water was 41 deg

Fished a few spots in the berkshires... I threw everything at it and slow and fast retrieve and all kinds of changed up. Not one bite. Still have ice on the lakes up around here to . Will give it a try in 2 weeks

Also the Deerfield River and cold River are both rushing hard!!!! From all the snow melt and dam being open! Barely fishable right now.
