I've found that jigs and crankbaits work well for me when fishing for largemouth bass.

I like crankbaits, plastic swimbaits, double curly tail grubs, plastic worms rigged Texas Style with the weight pegged, spinnerbaits and hollow belly frogs, topwater poppers and dog walking stickbaits....

I like to keep it simple, worms and jigs, once in a while I try something else.

The way you have been catching nice fish lately, why stray to anything else??

I caught all fish on everything from what im throwing. Except depend on various location and ponds/lakes that I fish at. I like plastics because usually for being cheap and easy to replace if I lose one. I stayed away from senko. they dont provide challenge for bass fishing. Senko are awesome lure for people who want awesome day of fishing. But it is not for me.

I always have a jig tied up to one of my setups and a finesse worm on another. The rest depends on the time of year and where I'm at. Obviously frogs in the summer, as well as large wake-type swimbaits. I've also had some good luck on spinnerbaits this year more recently. Nothing like a top water explosion on your bait!
